Rylee Soderberg

Master Cosmetologist

Have you ever had a time describing your hair goals to your stylist? That's why I love when clients bring in an inspiration photo, but also have an open mind about realistic hair goals.

Here's why:

Texture: think of it like a piece of fabric.

Yarn, Silk, Cotton, Polyester, They all have to be washed differently.

Some need to be dry cleaned only, Others cold water, While some need to be hung to dry.

So you're texture is going to play a big role in what approach your stylist decides to take.

Starting point: This will depend on how many sessions your desired goal will take.

Cost plus Maintenanace: Most color applications are color corrections these days.

For me personally, I try to create low maintenance tones with impactful placements.

Which means it may cost a lot more but with astronomical amount of less visits. (Saving you money in the long run)

Is this helpful when thinking about your hair goals?

If so I'd love to tell you more of who I am as a stylist my name is Rylee I am new to the area four years ago from North Dakota and thankful I did because everyone in the south loves to be blonde but how could you not? (Blondes are always having so much fun right.) I am passionate about my career as a stylist and love getting to know all these amazing people everyday. (My main goal is that my clients leave my chair feeling georgeous and look at themselves and see their true Beauty.)

As a hairdresser, I would have to say foiling is one of my favorite techniques among many more. I love this because highlights are so youthful, they add dimension and and movement to any base color. Not to mention that the maintenance and upkeep required is noticeably less than if you were to change your hair color entirely. which means fewer salon visits. I aim to please every client that sits in my chair, and hope to shine through with everyone I meet. At the end of the day Success to me is when I see a smile on my clients face!
